middle aged white woman, commenting on a photo of a muslim woman on the Humans of New York facebook page: today at walgreens i met this brilliant moslem woman, who was covered head to toe wearing the islamic habib, the cloth moslem women cover with. she was buying some completely harmless non-explosive potato chips. so i asked her, "are u a terrorist?", wondering if the suspicions brought about by american journalism were true. and she replied "peace be upon you my sister". she then proceeded to pay for my items and generously offered to invite me to her home and meet her thirty four siblings, all of whom are also moslem. they even cooked me an authentic moslem halal meal! my favorite dish were the kosher chicken franks! yum! we now have an active whatsapp group chat, and are all the best of friends. i have now been a dedicated moslem for twenty four years. never judge a book by its cover!
